Small glass wagon, to carry 7tons | The standard LNWR small glass wagon 16ft long and introduced in 1892 when stanchions were added to a standard D1 wagon. 118 were built and all but four survived through to the Grouping. |

Medium glass wagon (Double door at one end), to carry 10tons | The earliest LNW glass wagons, just 7 were built between 1877 and 1883. 18ft long, their double doors at each end were used for loading cases of glass into the well and high sides allowe for packing and protection. All bar one were scrapped between 1911 and 1916. | |

Large glass wagon (Double door at each end), to carry 10tons | An enlarged D40, 25ft 4in long but with similar high sides (later reduced in height when stanchions were fitted). 12 built 1883 to 1892 and 2 remained in 1923. | |

Large glass wagon with 9in sides, to carry 10tons | A development of the D41, with just ten of these 17ft 3in wagons were built between 1898 and 1911 with wooden wells. 8 were passed to the LMS in 1923. |

Large glass wagon with 9in sides and steel well, to carry 10tons | Outwardly similar to the D42, this was the fina design of 4-wheeled LNWR glass wagon and actualy a much newer design which included a steel well. 17 were built between 1911 and 1920, plus four D42 were altered to this type. |

Glass trolley, to carry 10tons | Just two of these massive 40ft 6in glass trollies were made in 1909 and 1911. Both passed to the LMS in 1923. |
